Nazca Lines from ICA
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no overflight service to the Nazca Lines during this year 2024.
But if you are already in Ica (Huacachina) we have a tour that starts from your hotel with private transportation and can be one way or return.
I’m going to Lima….
The best option is a 1 hour 30 minute trip north to Pisco International Airport. From here the flight takes 1 hour 40 minutes and this will give you time to board a bus in the afternoon from Paracas to Lima. The trip time will be 3 hours 30 minutes and from here to Jorge Chavez International Airport is 1 hour and to Miraflores or San Isidro 15 to 20 minutes.

1- Private transportation is the best option to make the most of your visit to this area of Peru. This trip is advantageous because it will give you the option of getting to know the desert and touching the ground where the geoglyphs are made. The tour includes: Comfortable transportation with room for luggage. This will be a 3 hour 30 minute trip starting from your hotel heading south on the Pan-American Highway making 02 stops along the way in the Palpa Desert. Here there are 2 towers to appreciate the figures prior to the Nazca geoglyphs that are located on the slopes of some mountains. The third stop will be at the Maria Reiche on-site museum where the remains of Dr. Maria Reiche and her sister Renate Reiche rest. This is a museum that collects the belongings that the researcher used in life for the study of the Lines and Figures. You can also see artifacts found in the desert, maps made on a smaller scale, etc.
The fourth stop will be at the Nazca Desert Tower from where you can see the following figures: the tree, the hands, the lizard, and part of a huge trapezoid. Further ahead will be the fifth stop at the natural observatory, a hill that houses several large lines around it, starting or ending there. We will continue the trip until we reach the Maria Reiche airfield located at kilometer 447 of the Panamericana Sur, where we will check in and document control. The flight is 35 minutes long and you will be able to see the following figures: The whale, the compass, the trapezoids, the astronaut, the monkey, the dog, the hummingbird, the spider, the condor, the pelican, the parrot, the tree, the hands and many lines crossing the desert and you will be in contact with the figures.
After the air service is finished, the bus will take you to the town of Nazca, exactly to the bus station, and we will end the service.
If the passenger has one more night to stay in Ica “Huacachina” we will return on a direct trip exclusively for the passenger’s rest.
