Dune Buggy – The trip continues 90 minutes south until you reach the Oasis of America called “Huacachina” in Ica. Here you can take a walk around the lagoon from the boardwalk and appreciate the beauty of the Oasis, its architecture, flora, and surrounding dunes. Then you must ascend a small sand slope for about 4 minutes to get to the parking area for the Buggies. This will be a very fun ride to the desert. You will see the desert at its best with craters, undulating dunes, cliffs, and viewpoints to appreciate the Ica Valley and the capricious dunes. The exact time to appreciate the sunset and ski on the sand will always start from a small dune to the highest ones, depending on the traveler’s decision. After finishing the ride to the desert we will make the 90-minute trip to get to Paracas and spend the night (hotel not included).
A 2 hour 30 minute walk to appreciate part of the area protected by the government. Here you can see fossilized turrets that are more than 45 million years old, the viewpoint of the Cathedral (rock formation inside the sea near the coast), the viewpoint of Supay beach, Yumaque beach, the Isthmus, the very famous and favorite of visitors, Red Beach.
During the walk to the desert there will be time for a snack and then we will continue back to Lima and the service will end.
It is always recommended to do the overflight on the first day of the trip since due to some situation such as the weather it can be rescheduled for the second day.
The presentation appointment at the Pisco airport will be decisive for the departure time of the trip from Lima.
Nazca Lines Flight-Very early in the morning, passengers are picked up from the lobby of their hotel to be transferred to the bus station located on Javier Prado Avenue. We provide the bus ticket to the passenger, this will be in virtual form (PDF) or they can also bring it printed, you will decide both are admitted. The trip will be in first class, first floor or maybe it could be on the second floor (depending on availability) from Lima to Paracas and the return trip, the trip will be 3 hours 30 minutes and Paracas will be the first stop of the bus as it continues to other destinations. Paracas is here where the passenger must get off the bus and contact our driver to be transferred to the international airport of Pisco from where the flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines will take place for 1 hour and 40 minutes in a 12-passenger aircraft and the most famous figures can be appreciated from a prudent height. After the flight we will continue the trip this time in private transport from the Pisco airport to Ica to the “Oasis of America Huacachina” a 90 minute trip via the Pan-American Highway South
Dune Buggy – When we are in Huacachina there will be time to walk around the lagoon and see its natural landscape, its dunes. Afterwards we will take a Dune Buggy ride to the desert to appreciate the sunset and you can do sand skiing as a beginner or as a professional. At the end of the tour the passenger will return in their private vehicle from Huacachina to their hotel in Paracas (not included). Paracas (El Chaco) offers tourists different types of hotels, hostels, lodgings, restaurants, nightclubs, ATMs, vegan restaurants, pharmacies, etc.
Ballestas Islands – On this second day you will have time for breakfast and check-out at your hotel. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 7:40 hrs to head to the pier, less than 5 minutes away from “El Chaco” where the tourist pier is located to take the sea excursion to the Ballestas Islands on a two-engine glider with capacity for 44 passengers. This is a 2-hour tour out to sea to appreciate the mysterious and immense geoglyph called “El Candelabro” Theories speak of Pirates, of the pre-Inca era and even from the time of the arrival of the liberators of Peru. Following this ride we will arrive at the Ballestas Islands where the landscape and the environment are totally changed and beautified by the roar of the sea lions, the magic emitted by the small Humboldt penguins walking, the singing of the different sea birds and the black color that covers the Islands by the birds that produce the famous fertilizer called “Guano”. Different birds arrive to these islands from Ecuador depending on the season, such as the blue-footed booby, etc. With luck, you may see bottlenose dolphins.

This tour is done in the other part of the Park Reserve by car and with an English-speaking guide. You will visit the desert where you will be able to see coarse sand dunes of different minerals which vary in color depending on the ambient temperature. You will see part of what was the famous Cathedral (it was destroyed by the earthquake in 2007), the Supay beach lookout, Yumaque beach, the Isthmus, the red beach, a unique place where the Pacific meets with its red sand and the yellow desert due to the different minerals in the area that affect and cause oxidation.
There will be a reasonable time for lunch and then we will transfer you to the bus station and board the return trip to Lima. Upon arrival, the driver will be waiting for the passengers with a sign and their respective names and we will proceed with the transfer from the bus station to your hotel, concluding the service.
